VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, eu newspapers engaging youth, families and educators through public information points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
